Stockport Eighteen Plus members have competed in the second round of the Northern Area 18 Plus Tomlin Trophy competition held in Northwich.

This took the form of a sporting competition (entitled "It's a balls up"), in which team members had to demonstrate their skills (or lack of them), in a variety of ball games.

These included Golf, Netball, Hockey, Football and Croquet. Unfortunately Stockport 18 Plus did not have a great deal of success in this round, but teams from Romiley and Cheadle did well with Romiley winning the Football and Croquet and were overall winners of the round beating teams from Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside.

The next round (and final round), of the Tomlin trophy competition will be held in the next couple of months and will be a general knowledge quiz.
