Star Trek

This afternoon I decided on the spur of the moment to go to the cinema to see the new Star Trek film, I thought my brother David might be interested so I sent him a text, he replied OK!

I phoned Dad to let him know I’d be home late, he said he’d started the evening meal so I offered to go on Thursday but he said no, after a bit of a discussion I agreed.

When I left the building Junior was waiting in his car with David, he had offered to give us a lift to the cinema.

We arrived a little early so went for a drink, Junior ordered a mixed grill as he wasn’t going to see the film.

On our way back to town David and I had a bit of a discussion about the film, I didn’t like the big hands and water tube jokes, David said not to forget that it was rated 12 therefore there had to be something in for the kids!

I enjoyed the film, hopefully it will launch a series of films or television programmes, or both!
