The May 2005 Conference was such a success held on Sunday that we have decided to continue with the same format for the November Area Conference.
The Conference took place on Sunday November 13th between 1:30 and 4:30 at O'Neill's Great George Street Leeds.
A couple of Committee positions were still vacant. We were glad to hear from those interested in the posts of Chairman, Memberships Officer and Publicity Officer. Robert Jones, James Sheard and John A Smith respectively were elected to the posts.
We're always looking for new ideas and additional hands to help, especially with Area scale events, so if anyone would like to organise a particular Area scale event, or get involved in the Area in a small way then we'd be glad to hear from you.
As we'd like to organie a National Hotel Break for 2006 we also wished to hear from anyone who would like to get involved in the organisation of this - it is planned to have a small sub-committee, Claire Jones expressed an interest and would be invited to the next Area Committee meeting.
